E3 Just Around The Corner

        The greatest video game show - E3 Expo - in the world is just around the corner with many rumors and speculations appearing through the web since a week or two ago. And most successful video game sites preparing for the press conferences given by the most notable video game companies during these days of the event; as the likes of Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo. The gamer community and press are eager to know what these GIANTS bring with them this year around for this great event, where they impress the masses with spectacular shows and presentations of their newest projects and future games. 


The BIG Guys:


         Last year Microsoft made a simple presentation of the newest features for their gaming sensor the Xbox Kinect while giving a glance of the upcoming games like Ghost Recon Future Soldier using the capabilities of the Kinect to customize the weapons and using the interface for playing and moving through the menus. Around the internet there have been rumors of Microsoft showing a similar show this year with the Kinect, and experts think there could be a glimpse of the next-gen system. But the experts, too, say the main show for Microsoft is going to be games the BIG stuff is coming for next year, as stated in the article posted by Joytiq yesterday - Joystiq Predicts: Microsoft's E3 2012 conference - where they predict what might bring Microsoft this year apart from know facts of what they'll show for sure.

         Sony last year was a hardcore gamers show, focused on FPS games and amazing games for those thirsty for action. This year around Sony is going to show off the PS Vita and the game that's showing the most interest by experts is PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (A smash bros. alike game) with the announcement given days ago about Sony publishing character's details one every month until the release day of the game. - Joystiq Predicts: Sony's E3 2012 conference

         For Nintendo this year we get to see what's new and improved in the last year glimpse of the next-gen console, the Wii U. Last year we knew that the Wii U is just the Moniker for the next console for Nintendo, now this year we are going to be able to know the new and maybe final name for the console, and the upgrades from last year made to the console to be competitive in a world ruled by the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that more than gaming consoles are home entertainment devices, giving the owners the capability of playing movies, communicating with friends, buy games online, interconnect with other devices as the PC/Laptops through WiFi, while Nintendo's Wii is just another gaming console with nice graphic rendering, not superb, and a quite simple communication interface to play together with friends, but that's all there is for the console, in my opinion. So this year Nintendo has to get pumped up and show a massive, competing console that get's everyone drooling with excitment.

Next-gen consoles as imagined by the gaming community

My Game Spectations:

     
          Apart from the well known console manufacturers we have conferences and shows from major video game industry's developers showing off their newest games and future game projects. As of me I'm going to be looking for the Ubisoft press conference that might be showing the newest soon to be release game from the series of Assassin's Creed games, Assassin's Creed 3. A new game and new adventure, with a new assassin named Connor and a new history around the USA Revolution in a colonial United States. Apart from Ubisoft and interested in the future game, coming 2013, from ZeniMax Online in union with Bethesda, and that is The Elder Scrolls Online. A MMORPG game based on Tamriel during 1000 years before any other game from The Elder Scrolls franchise. This game is coming with great specs and much spectation from gamer from both TES (The Elder Scrolls) and from MMO gaming communities.
